    <h1>ShortBooks Content Policy</h1>

    <p>
        This Content Policy explains what content is allowed and prohibited on ShortBooks.
        It applies to all users, including readers, authors, testers, and anyone using the platform
        to upload, create, publish, purchase, view, edit, or distribute content.

    <h2>1. Purpose</h2>
    <p>
        ShortBooks is a platform for written stories, books, comics, and related creative work.
        To protect users, payment systems, intellectual property rights, and platform operations,
        all content must comply with this policy, our Terms of Service, and any additional agreements
        that apply to your account type.

    <h2>2. User Responsibility</h2>
    <p>
        You are solely responsible for the content you upload, publish, submit, generate, edit,
        distribute, sell, or otherwise make available through ShortBooks.
        You must have all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authority for any content you use.

    <p>
        You are also responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful, accurate where required,
        non-infringing, and appropriate for the platform.
    </p>

    <h2>3. Prohibited Content</h2>
    <p>You may not upload, publish, submit, distribute, or promote content that includes or involves:</p>
    <ul>
        <li>copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or other intellectual property violations;</li>
        <li>stolen, unauthorized, pirated, or misappropriated content;</li>
        <li>fraud, impersonation, deception, scams, or misleading commercial conduct;</li>
        <li>malware, malicious files, harmful code, or attempts to disrupt the platform;</li>
        <li>content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity;</li>
        <li>harassment, threats, abuse, stalking, bullying, or targeted intimidation;</li>
        <li>hate speech or unlawful discriminatory abuse;</li>
        <li>sexual exploitation, abuse material, or any sexualized content involving minors;</li>
        <li>graphic exploitation content that violates law or creates platform safety risk;</li>
        <li>content intended to manipulate reviews, purchases, subscriptions, rankings, or monetization systems;</li>
        <li>spam, mass-upload abuse, repetitive low-value content, or automated abuse;</li>
        <li>attempts to bypass moderation, policy enforcement, payment protections, or access controls.</li>
    </ul>

    <h2>4. Minor Safety</h2>
    <p>
        Any content involving minors must comply with all applicable law and platform rules.
        Content that sexualizes minors, exploits minors, or creates safety risk for minors is strictly prohibited
        and may result in immediate removal, account termination, reporting to relevant authorities,
        and permanent restriction from the platform.

    <h2>5. Intellectual Property and Rights Clearance</h2>
    <p>
        You must own the content you submit or have clear legal rights to use it.
        This includes text, characters, artwork, comic panels, covers, logos, photos, reference assets,
        audio-related branding if used, and any other uploaded or incorporated material.

    <p>
        ShortBooks may remove or restrict content if ownership, originality, or rights clearance is unclear,
        disputed, or likely infringing.
    </p>

    <h2>6. Quality, Authenticity, and Platform Integrity</h2>
    <p>
        ShortBooks may restrict content that is low-quality, deceptive, duplicative, mass-generated for abuse,
        misleadingly labeled, or otherwise harmful to platform quality or user trust.
    </p>
    <p>
        This includes content used to:
    </p>
    <ul>
        <li>artificially inflate author catalogs;</li>
        <li>mislead users about authorship, originality, or format;</li>
        <li>abuse subscription or purchase flows;</li>
        <li>manipulate analytics, refunds, payouts, or ranking systems.</li>
    </ul>

    <h2>7. Monetized Content Rules</h2>
    <p>
        If content is offered for sale, included in a subscription benefit, or otherwise monetized,
        it must meet platform rules and legal requirements.
        ShortBooks may remove, unpublish, suspend, demonetize, refund, withhold payout eligibility,
        or restrict content that creates fraud risk, rights risk, refund abuse risk, or compliance problems.

    <h2>8. Beta Content and Test Environment Restrictions</h2>
    <p>
        During beta periods, additional restrictions may apply.
        Content uploaded during beta may be reviewed more aggressively for quality, compliance, rights clearance,
        operational stability, and confidentiality concerns.
    </p>
    <p>
        Beta testers and authors may be subject to additional contractual obligations regarding disclosure,
        platform confidentiality, and use of tools or outputs.
    </p>

    <h2>9. Enforcement</h2>
    <p>
        ShortBooks may review, moderate, restrict, remove, unpublish, flag, demonetize, suspend,
        or terminate any content or account at our discretion where needed for:
    </p>
    <ul>
        <li>legal compliance;</li>
        <li>intellectual property protection;</li>
        <li>minor safety;</li>
        <li>fraud prevention;</li>
        <li>platform integrity;</li>
        <li>user safety;</li>
        <li>operational security;</li>
        <li>policy enforcement.</li>
    </ul>

    <h2>10. Reporting and Review</h2>
    <p>
        We may investigate reports, complaints, rights claims, or internal detections related to content.
        We are not required to provide advance notice before restricting or removing content where immediate action
        is reasonably necessary.
    </p>

    <h2>11. Repeat Violations</h2>
    <p>
        Repeated policy violations, serious single violations, payment abuse, infringement issues,
        or attempts to bypass enforcement may result in permanent account suspension or removal,
        loss of monetization access, payout holds, or other restrictions.
    </p>

    <h2>12. Policy Updates</h2>
    <p>
        We may update this Content Policy from time to time.
        Continued use of ShortBooks after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy,
        unless additional notice or consent is required by law.
    </p>
